Roman Feast
Today was the Augusta Raurica field trip which sadly clashed with the ABRSM exam dates. I was one of the 5 girls who had exams on this day therefore not participating in the trip. We spent the day with ms Malcarney and learnt about roman numerals as wells as at the end of the day having a roman feast.

For the feast ms Malcarney had to do a little bit of research to find out what romans would have at their dinner table to celebrate. She found out that they would either have beer or wine which we substituted with ice tea, they would have olives, dates, peaches and grapes but we only had olives, fruits and vegetables which we replaced with potato chips. Normally for dessert they would have something sweet which ms Malcarney kindly replaced with chocolates.

Final Art Rotation Reflection May 2017 Mrs Richardson Week 1 I learned more things on advertisement today b drawing a pizza box. I learned that you have to make it look really yummy to eat to make people buy it and you should add bright colours to make it stand out. Like at McDonald's where they make it look even better than in real life! I learned that you have to make it as accurate as possible when you’re advertising because people might get disappointed if it’s not all they expected it to be. I liked the challenge with drawing the font because sometimes it was bold , sometimes it was cursive . Sometimes it was underlined , sometimes it was comic font. I really liked drawing the boxes but it was a challenge for me at specific parts of the box! I especially enjoyed colouring it in! Procedural Writing

We did an experiment with different types of toy balls. We would drop all of them from a specific height and see how high the ball would bounce. We then measured the height and moved onto the next ball. Once we dropped all the balls once we would drop them again. We dropped them 3 times. In the end the ball which jumped the highest was a red spiky ball.
