Math Assessment - Theme Park

I feel I did a good job with my theme park because I got most of my calculations correct, explained my thinking clearly and labeled my calculations. I think my design came out well because it’s one of the only times where you can just decide to change your idea entirely and start over! I learned and practiced how to do the algorithm properly for multiplication which helped me a lot during my calculations. What was challenging for me was probably the tables because they were very different and some of them weren’t very clear on what to do so I got a bit confused on some. I also found keeping track of some of he numbers a little challenging because I had a lot of important numbers everywhere! I had to definitely be organised during this project because if I wasn’t I’d lose everything I had by not knowing what it was and where it was! I also had to manage my time because we only got a certain amount of weeks to do it and I had to manage my time to get everything done in time. If I were to do it differently I would have chosen a theme for my park and made up some of the rides’ names.

Final Art Rotation Reflection May 2017 Mrs Richardson Week 1 I learned more things on advertisement today b drawing a pizza box. I learned that you have to make it look really yummy to eat to make people buy it and you should add bright colours to make it stand out. Like at McDonald's where they make it look even better than in real life! I learned that you have to make it as accurate as possible when you’re advertising because people might get disappointed if it’s not all they expected it to be. I liked the challenge with drawing the font because sometimes it was bold , sometimes it was cursive . Sometimes it was underlined , sometimes it was comic font. I really liked drawing the boxes but it was a challenge for me at specific parts of the box! I especially enjoyed colouring it in! Procedural Writing

We did an experiment with different types of toy balls. We would drop all of them from a specific height and see how high the ball would bounce. We then measured the height and moved onto the next ball. Once we dropped all the balls once we would drop them again. We dropped them 3 times. In the end the ball which jumped the highest was a red spiky ball.
