Lit. Circles 2019 Reflection

Lit. Circles 2019
I enjoyed Lit. Circles this year because I had a group that enjoyed the same kind of books I like and the
book we read was really interesting and fun to read. I think my group worked really well together
because we could communicate easily with each other, even though we were only two. We had very
detailed and long discussions about what happened in the book and what we thought would happen next.
I think we chose a good book together because we both enjoyed the book a lot and had a lot of fun
reading it and we were very happy to know that there were two other books in the series, one of which
we have also started reading. My group prepared really well for our discussions with long and well
thought out questions, points and highlights in the book. I wouldn’t have changed anything with these last
sessions for my group except maybe not talking about the book too much outside of class because
sometimes we would talk about what happened and then run out of things to say towards the end of
some sessions.

I put down ISZL because it is one of the schools I have been to. I love to eat sushi so I put that down because it is part of me. I put down all the things that matter to me in my life. Some of the words and pictures I put on my painting reflected all the things I think are important in life. Such as my family in the top left corner of my hair, my friends in the lower right, my favourite teddy bear, me and my brothers Xbox 360 and the cinema at the top middle of my head.

Final Art Rotation Reflection May 2017 Mrs Richardson Week 1 I learned more things on advertisement today b drawing a pizza box. I learned that you have to make it look really yummy to eat to make people buy it and you should add bright colours to make it stand out. Like at McDonald's where they make it look even better than in real life! I learned that you have to make it as accurate as possible when you’re advertising because people might get disappointed if it’s not all they expected it to be. I liked the challenge with drawing the font because sometimes it was bold , sometimes it was cursive . Sometimes it was underlined , sometimes it was comic font. I really liked drawing the boxes but it was a challenge for me at specific parts of the box! I especially enjoyed colouring it in! Procedural Writing

We did an experiment with different types of toy balls. We would drop all of them from a specific height and see how high the ball would bounce. We then measured the height and moved onto the next ball. Once we dropped all the balls once we would drop them again. We dropped them 3 times. In the end the ball which jumped the highest was a red spiky ball.
