How do you feel your Student Led Conference went?
Were you happy with the activities we had in our class?
Do you think your parents enjoyed the experience?
Would you change anything if you were to do it again?
I feel my SLC went well because my parents seemed to really liked it and enjoyed learning new strategies! I enjoyed teaching them range, median, mean and mode! I was really happy with the amount of activities in our class because you never had nothing to do! I think my parents loved SLC because they couldn’t stop congratulating me and my brother on how well we presented our conferences. I would probably put something else with the blogger station because my parents had already seen most of my blog so some of it was new and some of it wasn’t. I enjoyed presenting to my parents and hearing what my brother class was like!

 I really enjoyed teaching my parents things they didn't know yet! I thought it was really funny watching my parents trying to figure out the "There, Their and They're" activity! It was hilarious! I started by giving them a clue by putting out the middle piece. Turns out that didn't really help them as much as I thought it would! It took them about 20 - 25 minutes to complete it! They would get some right and then start all over again! My parents loved that game and wanted to make one at home! In the end my parents loved my E-Portfolio and adored our new unit! (Especially learning push and pull factors!) I had so much fun teaching them!

I put down ISZL because it is one of the schools I have been to. I love to eat sushi so I put that down because it is part of me. I put down all the things that matter to me in my life. Some of the words and pictures I put on my painting reflected all the things I think are important in life. Final Art Rotation Reflection May 2017 Mrs Richardson Week 1 I learned more things on advertisement today b drawing a pizza box. I learned that you have to make it look really yummy to eat to make people buy it and you should add bright colours to make it stand out. Like at McDonald's where they make it look even better than in real life! I learned that you have to make it as accurate as possible when you’re advertising because people might get disappointed if it’s not all they expected it to be. I liked the challenge with drawing the font because sometimes it was bold , sometimes it was cursive . Sometimes it was underlined , sometimes it was comic font. I really liked drawing the boxes but it was a challenge for me at specific parts of the box! I especially enjoyed colouring it in! Procedural Writing

We did an experiment with different types of toy balls. We would drop all of them from a specific height and see how high the ball would bounce. We then measured the height and moved onto the next ball. Once we dropped all the balls once we would drop them again. We dropped them 3 times. In the end the ball which jumped the highest was a red spiky ball.
